Kaela Raku

Kaela Raku was born in Tasmania, Australia and has lived in many different places all over the US. In 1998 she moved permanently to New Hampshire where she was enrolled in the Governor Wentworth School District, and graduated 6th in her class. She is now finishing up her student teaching for her BS in Music Education degree at Plymouth State University.

Ms. Raku has wanted to be a teacher and a musician ever since she can remember. As a child she was often playing teacher with her siblings or singing any song she knew for her family. What better way is there to combine the two than to be a music educator. She studied voice for two years before studying with her current teacher, Amanda Munton, at PSU. She has learned so much through this degree program and can't wait to keep learning and growing musically and otherwise throughout her life.
